"Find the middle ground."

Local event discovery is scattered across platforms and social feeds. Users miss out, and small businesses struggle to reach new audiences without relying on algorithms.

Research

I audited competitor platforms including Meetup, Eventbrite, Google Maps, Facebook Events, and HalfwayPoint to identify gaps in local, community-driven discovery.

Key Features

Map-based discovery, event saving and sharing, simple business event posting, clear scannable event details, and group-friendly planning tools.

A system of reusable components — cards, icons, buttons, and filters — built for clarity and scalability across the app.

UI component system

Clean and approachable. The palette pairs warm neutrals with a mint accent to feel modern without being cold.
